WOXBOX's inception was rooted in a dream that evoked a cherished childhood memory from summer camp days... a camp counsellor had everyone write something nice about each person in the cabin. At the end, those paper messages brimmed with heartfelt words. It was incredible! That feeling kindled a warm connection and an inner glow, unveiling how each of them were perceived and valued.

This idea that we should take the opportunity to share our kind words and not wait until it's too late, led to the birth of the very first "words of kindness" boxes.

Fate brought Carey and Cindy together as they both shared an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for spreading kindness, love and making others feel truly special,

Crafted with love and care, these gift boxes were presented to friends and family, resulting in an overwhelming outpouring of gratitude and joy... most said it was the best gift they had ever received... and it was the "gift that kept on giving" as they came back to read the messages time & time again!

Creating "words of kindness" boxes was a blast, but it was also time-consuming to collect and keep track of messages through email. The idea to create a website was formed... a place where people can easily invite their friends, families, colleagues, collaborators, and anyone else to contribute messages.
